Short crochet caplet - the easy way of adding shine to your wardrobe

One size fits most

Shown in Eros 701 - 3 balls. You can also use Flair

Material: 3 balls ribbon yarn 150m per ball. Crochet Hook 5.0mm

Abbreviation: Treble crochet= wrap yarn around hook 2 time ( =3 loops on hook), insert hook and (draw through 2 loops) 3 times.

Start: Chain 4. Work 5 dc into ring.

Next row: Chain 3 (counts as first Treble), work 2 Trebles into first chain space of previous row

( between two dc), then *1 Treble into next chain space ; repeat from * to last chain space, 3 Trebles into last chain space.

Repeat last row 16 times.

Shoulder shaping: one side

1^st row: Chain 3, 1 treble each into next 15 spaces. Turn

2^nd row: Chain 3, work 1 Treble into second chain space, 1 Treble each into all chain spaces to last chain space, work 3 Treble into last chain space. Finish off.

Shoulder shaping for other side: Attach yarn to outside of other side and repeat 1^st and 2^nd row of shoulder shaping. Finish off.

Back : Repeat as given for front.

Sew shoulder seams together. Cut fringes 16" long and attach ( 3 strands held together) around approx.: 1 " apart from each other.

If you would like a more closed neck version, you can sew neckline more together.
